Mood Boards and Storyboards
Mood board |
3 Uses of mood boards:
- Shows a visualisation general theme and genre
- Allows for a brief idea to be presented
- Keeps the product on track
- Shows rough ideas of what needs to be done
- Keeps production on track as they know what needs to be done
- It shows how the text is meant to unfold by shots
3 Differences between mood boards and storyboards
- A story board shows themes, characters, setting, camera angles, mise-en-scene ideas, whereas a storyboard shows a sequence of events
- A storyboard can hold detailed than a mood board
- A mood board consists of brief, vague ideas where as ideas in a storyboard are more developed
